A missionally minded teen music community
About our program
Collective Jam is a teen music community (7th-12th grades) that exists to empower and equip young people in the teamwork of playing and creating music. We want to be ennoble young musicians to contribute to the community with their musical talent and knowledge in order to serve and be salt to the earth.
This is a safe community to try and learn new instruments and/or improve upon instruments you already play through the breakdown of popular songs and "jamming out" together weekly as well as occasional coordinated events and open mic nights.
Youth that participate in the Jam also learn the basics of stage tech, production, and equipment management and repair.

Play With Us
Youth in grades 7-12 are welcome to come to the weekly Jam nights which take place every Thursday evening from 5 pm - 7 pm at 310 E. Madison St., Eau Claire, WI.
Bring your own instrument or try one of ours.
Volunteer With Us
We need people who are passionate about teen youth and music to support our community through relationship and instruction.
We need volunteers to provide meals for our Thursday evening Jam nights.

How it Works
Every Thursday night at The Jam is packed with purpose, music, and community.
The evening kicks off with Teen Open Jam from 4–5 PM, where students can explore their instruments, get one-on-one guidance from instructors, and build their skills in a relaxed environment.
At 4:45 PM, worship leaders gather to prepare for the night’s closing worship.
From 5–6 PM, students dive into structured Jam programming — working together to break down a popular song part-by-part, instrument-by-instrument, until everyone plays it together as a full band.
After that, we share a meal at 6 PM followed by student-led worship and prayer at 6:20 PM. Finally, from 6:30 to 7:30/8:00 PM, The Jam Performance Bands rehearse for their upcoming shows. Space is limited, and participation is either first come, first served or by appointment — focused on Jam-related skills and band preparation.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: Make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; With the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet Make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.
Psalm 98:4-9
